You Worry About the Wrong Things

sb10069594i-001I cannot stress how important it is to stay focused. Sometimes, we worry about the wrong things in life. I am realizing that not everyone is always focused on the right things or at least the things you think they should be focused on. You can’t always help those individuals. You see how talented they are and see the potential they have but their mind is worried about going out, partying or finding a man or when their next outing or drink is going to be. It’s like the highlight of their life but yet we see so much more.

I just shake my head because they are wasting the perfect time to make themselves into a better person. Ironically, these are the same people who say they want the most for themselves like finding a specific job or gaining more experience in what they currently do but they aren’t working towards that goal.

Please don’t mistake this for something negative, this is just to let everyone know that the things you want aren’t always the things you need. We need to be worrying about the quality of our life not those miniscule things we can still do after we’ve accomplished what we really need.

I’ve been in this position before; dwelling and daydreaming about things that just don’t matter. Next thing you know, time is passing you by and you haven’t done anything. Don’t make that mistake. Be proactive with your life. Stop worrying about the flavor of the week and get with what’s good for your life.

I couldn’t agree with you more. There are two kind of people in the world: Those that utilize their God given talents and all of the rest of the people. Exerting too much energy on these individuals can be a huge distraction and can even stump your own progress.
