Welcome to winter! With the holiday spirit filling the air, what better way to celebrate than by walking in a winter wonderland, literally. We stopped by one of the most festive annual traditions in New York City, SERRA by Birreria at Eataly to check out the new menu and ambiance.
To start, try the Arancini, a crispy rice ball with mozzarella, followed by pasta of course! The gnocchi? Or the ravioli perhaps? It is made with brown butter, sage and toasted hazelnut for a nutty finish. Share a side of crispy Brussels sprouts or patate – a fried potato dish. As always, be sure to check with the staff for any allergies!

Cinghiale con Polenta: braised wild boar, wild hive polenta, and fresh Urbani winter black truffle.
Place an order for a cocktail or mocktail or two. For a fruitier sip, check out the Profumo D’inverno mixed with vodka, lemon, vanilla and ginger beer.

Save room for dessert! From a traditional Italian tiramisu to profiteroles, a mini custard-filled puff drizzled in chocolate sauce, or affogato, a mix between espresso and gelato if stuck between a sweet finish and a burst of energy and flavor.

SERRA is open Monday to Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. For more information, visit www.eataly.com.
