A category five storm is the strongest most severe class of hurricane on the scale for measuring the strength of hurricanes. The intensity of their winds and floods are capable of causing complete roof failure on buildings, causing coastal damage, city flooding and was the result of Hurricane Katrina. Those that survived Hurricane Katrina was saved by the love of God and nothing else; for nothing but God was able to keep them in the days of trouble serving as their strong tower, hiding them under His wings of protection, keeping them grounded while everything and everyone around them was blown away.  Nobody, but God was able to sustain them through floods and winds of that magnitude. Nobody, but God was able to restore back to them all that was damaged by the winds and destroyed by the flood.

My sister, you too are a category 5 SURVIVOR, which is why you must always remember the strength that lies within you. Don’t let depression, defeat or discouragement get the best of you. Your category 5 survival skills have already been proven. If you have lived through the loss of a mother, father, a child then you are a category 5 SURVIVOR. If you have been through a divorce, lay-off, sickness then you are a category 5 SURVIVOR.  If you have overcome an addiction or recovered after a house fire then you are a category 5 SURVIVOR for you have already survived a category five storm. So don’t ever let the enemy make you think that you don’t have what it takes to make it thru a category 1, 2 or 3 storm.  You are a category 5 SURVIVOR and the same GOD that got you through the hurricane is the same GOD that will get you through the storm. So rejoice, because this too shall pass. The storm is almost over and you will be restored!

I love the analogy! It is so true, many women have been through hell and back yet that pain and struggle only brings us closer to our Creator and heightens our own sense of self worth. We are so powerful, more than we know. This was a beautiful article and I found it to be very inspirational. A much needed reminder of our own strength and greatness!Continue on in light, love, faith and clarity!

Hi Imani! I would like to thank you for visiting us at BRONZE and I thank you much for reading my article and it pleases me to know that you were encouraged and inspired. As I journey through my own personal storm, I have to remind myself often that I’ve already survived a hurricane, so this storm is really a small thing and I can weather this out. We can weather this out for the storm will not destroy us “GREATER IS HE THAT IS WITHIN US THAN HE THAT IS N THE WORLD”

Be blessed and again, thank you!

I do believe that this storm shall pass and everything that was destroyed in the path of the storm will be restored. Just as God did for Job, he regained double. I intend to regain all that was lost.
