Poem by Mayuri
The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want. (Psalm 23:1)
I am washed in His blood of restoration, renewed
and made whole.
Surely He has borne my grief and carried my sorrows. (Isaiah 53:4)
I am protected, cared for and replenished
as a branch of His vine with the spiritual food
that endures to everlasting life.
And Jesus said…“I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.” John 6:35
I abide in Him and my cup runs over.
He is loving, patient and faithful.
In Him I am forgiven, in Him I am resurrected.
His healing and wisdom flows into my heart.
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty,
I cling to His voice with great expectation.
His kindness shall not depart from me. (Isaiah 54:10)
He gives me the courage to embrace life;
to give and receive love.
The redeemer lives in me.
He is my hope and the rock for my endurance.
In Him I trust and fear not.
In Him I am at peace.
I rest in His green pastures.
I lay beside the still waters.
in the house of the Lord, where the angel of
the Lord encamps all around,
where no weapons formed against me shall prosper.
“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good.” (Psalm34: 8)
“For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit.” 1 Peter 3:18
