Modeling for clothing designers such as Anne Fontaine, BCBG, St. John and Calypso St. Barth, Kamla McKenzie is just around the corner from being a household name. With her unique face, hazel eyes and of course her modeling talents, some compare her to a mixture between Chanel Iman & Tyra Banks.
Whether Kamla-Kay’s neckline is adorned with David Yurman jewelry for his trunk show or modeling Louis Vuitton Purses at Saks Fifth Avenue, this marketing and advertising college-major model is ready to sell any client’s product.
You may have seen her modeling during Miami Fashion Week, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week or in a 2-piece bikini for the opening of the Kardashian “DASH” store.
Taking her passion for charity to the runway, Kamla-Kay has lent her modeling talents at various charity events to raise money for at risk teenagers and AIDS prevention and awareness. She has also modeled for “Catwalk for Charity”; a fundraising event hosted by Vivica Fox & Giuliana Rancic of E! News created to raise money for children in Miami & Haiti.
Her professional demeanor and very outgoing personality, along with her God-given talent, is allowing Kamla-Kay to blaze ahead with her modeling career. With aspirations to work for clients such as Target, Forever 21 and Pastry by Vanessa & Angela Simmons, Kamla-Kay is not taking her eye off the prize anytime soon.
