6 Ways to Clear Your Mind

Sometimes we are thinking and doing so much that we don’t really know how to relax and stop ourselves from over focusing on everything. We are always thinking about all the things we need to do that even when we’re done, turning our minds off isn’t as simple as flipping a switch. Here are some things you can do to help you clear your mind.

Try Sudoku

It’s a Japanese puzzle game based on the logical placement of numbers that requires concentration. Because you have to concentrate on the placement of the numbers, it is difficult to think about anything other than the puzzle.

Try a Crossword Puzzle

These are helpful when clearing your mind because you have to really think about the riddles and find the correct answers.

Try Reading a Book

When reading, you need concentration, or you end up reading the same sentence a dozen times. Multitasking is not an option while reading.

Try a Jigsaw Puzzle

Jigsaw puzzles require a lot of focus because they are split into a number of oddly shaped pieces.

Try Exercise

Whether you work out at the gym or in your home, go for a run or do yoga, exercise makes it hard for your mind to be crammed with a million thoughts. And if you listen to music that also helps to block out other thoughts.

Try a Video Game

Whether you play games on your phone, or on a game console like and Xbox or PlayStation, video games have a way of taking your mind off everything else.
